rPET plastic is considered as more sustainable compared with its virgin PET plastic counterpart. This is because recycled plastic has a lower carbon footprint  saving raw material whilst taking less energy to produce.
 
The 500ml containers dimensions are 153 mm long x 125 mm wide x 55 mm deep. This style of food container for cold foods is also known as clamshell.
